The client, a bicyclist, was struck by a motor vehicle while riding in the Broad Ripple neighborhood of Indianapolis. The client suffered what was initially described as a mild traumatic brain injury, but the injury prevented him from returning to work due to ongoing problems with concentration, memory, and mood. The insurance company disputed both liability and the extent of the injury. After a five-day jury trial, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the client.
