Over a Decade of Service to the Brain Injury Association of Indiana
This October marks the 11th year that DBR partner Dan Buba has served as a Board Member and Officer with the Brain Injury Association of Indiana (BIAI). His deep involvement with BIAI is rooted in decades of legal advocacy for individuals who have suffered traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) due to negligence. That experience has only strengthened our firm’s commitment to advancing support systems for survivors and their families.
Over the past ten years, Doehrman Buba Ring has contributed more than $150,000 to help fund BIAI’s critical work—supporting advocacy initiatives, public education campaigns, and survivor-focused programs across Indiana. This financial support, paired with Dan’s leadership on the board, underscores DBR’s ongoing dedication to the brain injury community.
Mentorship Through the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys
Our dedication to public service also extends to mentoring within the legal field. As a Board-Certified Truck Accident Attorney, Dan Buba participates in the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys (ATAA) Mentorship Program, which pairs seasoned attorneys with peers who are new to handling complex truck crash cases.
Dan served as a mentor during the 2024–25 term and is continuing his mentorship into the 2025–26 term, providing hands-on guidance, litigation insights, and trial strategies to help strengthen legal advocacy for victims of trucking accidents nationwide.
